“My name is Felipe Quadros Kramer, originally from Caxias do Sul, RS – Brazil. I was born in 1995. I speak Portuguese 🇧🇷, English 🇺🇸, and Spanish 🇪🇸 fluently.”
Even as a child, I remember starting to draw by tracing Pokémon from the magazine ‘Recreio’. After that, I became increasingly passionate about street art, and at the age of 12, in 2007, I started doing graffiti as a way to express my art.
I graduated in Aeronautical Sciences from PUCRS ✈️. After graduation, I moved to Santo Ângelo, a city with just over 20,000 inhabitants, to take a position as a flight instructor at an aviation school, where I taught both theoretical and practical flight lessons. During that period, I had the opportunity to connect with Cruz Alta University (UNICRUZ), and at just 20 years old, I became an academic professor, teaching three technical subjects.
After a year of intensive studying, I passed the selection exam to work for a Brazilian airline. I stayed with the company for about three years, until my world turned upside down – I was fired, which led me into depression 🫠. I spent six months locked in my room, just waiting for the days to pass…
I didn’t know what to do with my time, so I decided to revive an old hobby that had always been with me – drawing. I made a portrait and really liked the result. From that moment, I drew every day to fill my time. One day, I bought some materials, watched many tutorials on YouTube, and completed a basic tattooing seminar. After a lot of practice and receiving my certificate, I started practicing. I trained extensively on synthetic skin until, on October 11, 2020, I completed my first tattoo on human skin. From that point, everything started moving very quickly.
On my journey, I met only wonderful people who helped take my career to the next level. In less than three months, I had regular tattoo appointments in two states each month – half in São Paulo, half in Rio Grande do Sul.
After six months, I received an invitation to tattoo in California, USA 🇺🇸. With less than a year of professional experience, I won my first trophy at a tattoo convention – and after that one, ten more followed.
