Piercing positions that we don’t do

In the eternal search for something that no one else has, people pierce different parts of the body without thinking about whether the piercing will be sustainable in the long term or create health problems. You will always be able to find someone who does not have enough knowledge about piercing, but is willing to embark on such ventures because his only interest is profit, so without further clarification and ethical dilemmas, he will do everything you want.

Professional piercers do not do these positions:

SNAKE EYES
In this position, there is an extremely high risk of damage to the teeth and gums because of the constant contact with the balls. There is also a high possibility of the balls sinking into the tissue of the tongue and the migration of jewelry. The jewelry is placed through two parallel muscles, which prevents normal mobility of the tongue, makes it difficult to speak, chew and limits other functionalities.

EYELID PIERCING
We all know that unpleasant feeling when we have an eyelash in our eye. But there are also those who think this is a great idea.

FINGER PIERCING
Hands are the part of the body that is most exposed to external influences such as dirt and various chemicals, which can greatly irritate the wound, i.e. piercing. There is also a very high probability that there will be constant snagging on the jewelry, which can cause migration and rejection. Regardless of what kind of jewelry is placed (bent barbell or dermal anchor), piercing in this position is not sustainable in the long run.

HAND WEB PIERCING
We don’t do it for the same reasons as we do with finger piercing. This part of the body is also very mobile and stretchy, which makes healing even more difficult.

UVULA PIERCING
This position is extremely difficult to do, and wearing jewelry on the uvula causes a constant vomiting reflex. There is a high possibility of jewelry migrating through the delicate tissue of the uvula, and if jewelry opens and falls out, it will only be swallowed at best, but suffocation can also occur.
