INCORRECT JEWELRY DIMENSIONS


If you accidentally ordered the wrong color or dimension, or if we mistakenly sent the wrong model, please contact us by email at webshop.octopus@gmail.com so we can arrange an exchange. Returns and exchanges of purchased jewelry can be made within 14 working days from the date of purchase.


WORN JEWELRY CANNOT BE EXCHANGED!


Just as you lose the right to exchange worn underwear, piercing jewelry cannot be returned once it has been worn for a certain period of time, as it comes into contact with bodily fluids, cosmetics, etc. Some jewelry models can be sterilized, some cannot, but regardless of that – at Octopus we do not sell used jewelry. If you are not sure what size jewelry you need, contact us and we will gladly help you choose.


JEWELRY COMPLAINTS


You can file a complaint about purchased jewelry within 30 days from the date of purchase.

If the damage to the jewelry is the result of a manufacturing defect, we will replace the jewelry with a new one at no additional cost. The damaged jewelry must be returned to Octopus so that we can send it to the manufacturer and file the complaint on our side, and then provide you with a replacement. When returning goods, please carefully follow the instructions described in the Terms of Purchase – VII. Contract Cancellation and Return of Goods.

If the damage was caused by improper handling or prolonged wear, Octopus piercing studio is not obliged to replace the jewelry or refund the money. If you mounted the jewelry yourself, we are not responsible for any falling out and/or loss of jewelry.

Piercing jewelry is specific in that it is almost never taken off, unlike necklaces, rings, and similar types of jewelry. Due to constant wear and contact with bodily fluids (sweat, saliva), cosmetics, water, etc., some types of jewelry are subject to wear.

For example, colored titanium jewelry – titanium is originally silver in color and is anodized (colored) during the manufacturing process. With constant friction from tissue or clothing against the colored jewelry, the color will wear off over time and become silver again at the point of contact. The same applies to gold-plated and black (PVD-coated) jewelry, although the process may take longer.

Another example of jewelry wear is the darkening or loss of zircon stones. On certain types of jewelry, zircon stones may darken over time due to prolonged exposure to sweat, water, cosmetics, etc. On some types of jewelry, this will not occur due to differences in craftsmanship, i.e., the setting of the stones (see Jewelry Types – Types of Zircon).

All branded jewelry (Junipurr, Anatometal, LeRoi, etc.) comes with a lifetime warranty that covers stone loss. For lower-priced jewelry, this warranty lasts 30 days from the date of purchase.

We strive to provide the most accurate possible description and picture of the jewelry. Nevertheless, colors in pictures may differ from the actual colors of the jewelry.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the purchased jewelry, please contact us so that we can find an appropriate solution.


RETURN OF PURCHASED JEWELRY


If for any reason you wish to return the ordered jewelry, please contact us by email at webshop.octopus@gmail.com. In the email, state your name and surname, and the reason for returning the jewelry.


REFUND


In cases where a refund to the customer has been agreed upon, the amount of the jewelry price is refunded. Shipping costs and any bank fees are not subject to refund!


RETURN POLICY


  1. Returns or exchanges are only approved for unworn piercing jewelry within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Jewelry must be returned in its original packaging (small plastic bag) in an envelope with protective bubbles so that it does not get damaged during transport. If we receive damaged jewelry, we are not obliged to provide a refund or replacement.
  3. Jewelry must be sent to the address: Octopus obrt, Prilaz Gjure Deželića 23/1, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. The envelope must also include your personal details (sender).
  4. The customer bears the cost of returning incorrectly ordered jewelry and the cost of sending new jewelry if it is an exchange.
  5. Jewelry must be sent by registered mail (without cash on delivery) in order to obtain a tracking number. In case the package is lost during transport, Octopus cannot provide a replacement or refund.
  6. After receiving the returned jewelry, in agreement with the customer, we will send replacement jewelry (the new shipping is charged to the customer according to the regular price list) or issue a refund. The refund amount is reduced by the original shipping cost.
