ONLINE BOOKING


Please read before booking


Booking a piercing appointment is not something you encounter every day (unless you are a piercing veteran) so please carefully read the booking instructions and other important information, so that there are no situations in which we cannot accommodate you because you have chosen the wrong option.

For online booking, we use the Fresha platform – for ease of use, you can install their Fresha for customers app (Android / Apple) and create a profile. Through the application, you can easily book an appointment, and if necessary, transfer or cancel it yourself.

CONTACT

From 2024, we do not use phones. All communication with customers is done via e-mail. To prevent our emails from ending up in your spam folder, add our e-mail to your address book: octopuspiercing@gmail.com

When booking an appointment, please enter the e-mail address that you use regularly, as you will receive a booking confirmation and all notifications about possible changes in the date (e.g. in case a piercer is sick).
Please do not use your Apple ID to log in to the system because it looks like this: 4xwynrq8yj@privaterelay.appleid.com and you will not receive automatic emails from the Fresha platform (e.g. notifications about cancellation of appointments). If you are using a Facebook profile to sign in, all emails will be sent to the email address associated with the Facebook profile.

Please enter your NAME AND SURNAME when making a reservation so that in the waiting room we do not call for Happy Pig, user69 and the like. It may sound fun, but it makes our job more difficult, especially when we are crowded.

APPOINTMENT BOOKING

Booking an appointment is mandatory for all services that include piercers – piercing , removing or inserting (replacing) jewelry.

When booking, pay attention to the existence of CATEGORIES – ‘jewelry exchange’, ‘piercing – ear’, ‘piercing – face’, etc.
Each service has a description – PLEASE READ.

Some services have a form that needs to be read or filled out before arriving at the appointment. For example, the navel piercing service has an ‘Anatomy‘ form, 1-hour appointments have an ‘Advance payment‘ form, microdermal piercing has a form in which you need to enter the position where you would like to do them, etc. You can open the form in the Fresha app or via the link in the email you received after booking.

At the very end of the reservation there is an option ‘add note‘ – here you can write to us, for example, ‘All services are for me‘ or ‘The three of us are coming‘ in case you are making a reservation for more services or for more people.

If you book an appointment via a mobile phone with a small screen, the ‘Confirm’ button is sometimes not visible on the last step – if you do not click on it, the appointment will not be booked. With a successful reservation, you see this at the end:

Sign up for the waiting list to be notified of the available appointments for a particular day.

BUYING JEWELRY WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT

If you can set up the jewelry yourself and you don’t need a piercer for that, you can come shopping without an appointment during our working hours.

Please note that from 1.5.2025, all purchases are FINAL, i.e. purchased jewelry cannot be exchanged for another (complete info here).
If you have been pierced by us in the last few years, you have received a leaflet with piercing aftercare instructions on which the dimensions of the jewelry and the thread are written. This is important to you because if you don’t know the dimensions you need, chances are you’ll buy the wrong jewelry that you won’t be able to return.

If you are not 100% sure about the dimensions, please book an appointment for a jewelry replacement and ask the piercer to write down all the important information so that you can buy jewelry yourself in the future.

In the studio we also sell foreceps and tapers – tools that make it easier for you to replace jewelry on your own.

Octopus Piercing Studio is not responsible for jewelry loss in situations where the client inserts it independently and it falls out or gets lost. In such cases, we do not provide refunds or replacement jewelry.

BEING LATE FOR THE APPOINTMENT

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your piercing appointment or more than 5 minutes late for your jewelry change appointment, we will most likely not be able to see you so as not to delay subsequent appointments. We will gladly help you find a new appointment.

Please note that Octopus is in the city center, i.e. count on eternal traffic jams and little chance of finding parking near the studio.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel the appointment, you can do it yourself via the Fresha application (no later than 12 hours before the appointment) or contact us by email at octopuspiercing@gmail.com

NOT SHOWING UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT

If the client does not cancel their appointment and does not come to it, they will be marked as ‘no-show’ in the system. A client who does not show up twice will need to pay a deposit in the amount of the booked service for each new appointment.

DEPOSIT

Appointments lasting 1 hour or longer must be confirmed by paying an advance payment in the amount of the booked services. When we see your appointment in the system, we will send you an offer with deposit payment information and other relevant information to the email you signed up with.

PIERCING ANATOMY

For certain positions, an anatomy check is required prior to the piercing appointment to determine if the piercing will be sustainable.
It is not necessary to book an appointment for an anatomy examination, you just come during our working hours.

MINORS AND PIERCING

Persons under the age of 18 must come to the piercing appointment accompanied by one parent. You can read the full info here.

ACCOMPANYING PERSON

A guest is not allowed to enter the piercing room, except in the case of a minor, when the presence of one parent is allowed.
We ask that the accompanying person wait on the ground floor of the salon so that the limited number of seats in the waiting room is available for clients who have appointments or who feel unwell after their piercing.

CHECK-UPS AND EMERGENCIES

If you have noticed a problem with your piercing, send us pictures of the piercing by e-mail octopuspiercing@gmail.com with a short description of the problem.

To assess the condition of your piercing, please send us:

  • Photos of the piercing (for ear piercings – front, back, and side views)
  • Information about how old the piercing is
  • Which products you are currently using for cleaning

What happens next:

  • After reviewing your submission, we will send you detailed instructions if it is a common and easily solvable issue
  • If an in-person check, jewelry change, or removal is required, we will provide you with an appointment at the studio

In urgent situations, come without an appointment if:

  • The piercing is bleeding heavily
  • There is significant swelling
  • The jewelry is sinking into the tissue and can barely be moved

Important notes:

  • We will try to see you between scheduled appointments
  • Waiting may be necessary (sometimes up to 30 minutes)

If the situation is not urgent:

  • You need to book an appointment for a consultation and check-up

IT IS PROHIBITED

  • Transport devices – Please refrain from bringing roller skates, bicycles, or scooters into the studio floors.
  • Children under 12 – For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot allow entry for children under 12. If you arrive with a child, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.
  • Pets – To maintain a clean and safe environment, pets are welcome to wait in the studio’s foyer (glass entrance), but cannot enter the main studio areas.
