DISCOUNTS FOR EXCELLENCE
This campaign has become one of Octopus’s traditions. It was launched in 2015 and has been held every year throughout the month of July since then. The goal of the campaign is to encourage young people to achieve better results in the education system or in extracurricular activities. While we fully understand that grades are not the true measure of knowledge, we are all aware of the fact that good results pay off in the long run. With better grades, you’ll have the chance to enroll in the university of your choice, and outstanding success in sports or music could open the door to a professional career you’ll love. And if none of that interests you – it’s still worth making the effort for a discount. ♥
The 50% discount applies to piercing services and is valid from 01. to July 31st every year. All pupils and students aged 12 to 22 are eligible to participate.
To qualify for the discount, you need to present your school report card (or whatever document is currently issued by schools/universities) showing that you completed the academic year with an average grade of 4.0 or higher. For those who don’t meet the required grade average but achieve outstanding results in other areas (music, sports, etc.), it is necessary to provide proof/certification of those achievements (such as placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a national competition).
The discount cannot be transferred to another person or be used outside of the specified period. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts (for example, if you are getting more than one microdermal piercing or another service that already includes a quantity discount, you cannot additionally apply the discount for excellence).

PIERCING MARATHON
The “Piercing Marathon” is an idea that originated in the early days of Octopus, with the goal of promoting piercing in society and providing high-quality piercing services at reduced prices for those who cannot afford such a luxury on a regular basis.
On the day of the “marathon,” selected piercing services are discounted by 50%, and clients are served in the order of arrival, without appointment booking. Due to extremely high turnout, waiting times can sometimes be several hours. For this reason, we have introduced a queue system (similar to a bank). Upon arrival, clients must take a ticket with a queue number.
The queue is streamed live via our Instagram/Facebook piercing profile so clients can, for example, go for a coffee at a nearby café and return in time for their piercing. If a client is not present in the salon when their number is called, we are not able to wait for them, and the next client is automatically served. The remaining clients are then processed according to their queue numbers.

Each Piercing Marathon comes with its own additional rules, so we ask you to please make sure to carefully read all the information related to that specific event before coming. At most marathons, we do not perform genital piercings because they take too much time. At some marathons, certain jewelry models are also discounted along with the service, while at others they are not. The goal of this event is to serve as many clients as possible in a single day; however, we unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone who shows up, after all we don’t actually have eight arms, and one piercer can work on only one person at a time.
To speed up the entire process, we kindly ask clients to be considerate and follow a few simple rules:
UPON ARRIVAL, TAKE A TICKET WITH YOUR NUMBER
Follow the live stream of the queue system.
For example, if you have number 60, please be in the studio when number 58 is being served.
THINK ABOUT YOUR DESIRED PIERCING AND JEWELRY
Please take some time beforehand to decide which piercing you want and what type of jewelry you prefer (color: silver, gold, rose gold, black / with or without a gem) so we don’t lose too much time on decision-making and selection.
EAT A MEAL
Have a proper meal at least one hour before your piercing, and be sure to let us know if you tend to feel unwell during blood draws or if you have a fear of needles.
WHEN YOU CAN BRING A COMPANION
If you are not a minor, please do not bring a companion to the piercing floor to avoid unnecessary crowding – only clients who are getting pierced are allowed to enter.
Minors must be accompanied by one parent (not the entire family!) and should read our Piercing Policy for Minors in advance.
Please do not bring pets or small children, as waiting times can be long (and they are not allowed on the piercing floor anyway).
Please understand that piercers are humans, not robots, so they occasionally need a break for lunch, a glass of water, or to recover their mental health after all the stress etc. 🙂 If we don’t manage to serve you, we sincerely apologize, but we simply cannot work at this pace for more than eight hours.
DONATIONS FOR ANIMAL SHELTERS
Everyone at Octopus loves animals, and since we unfortunately can’t adopt them all, we support organizations that care for abandoned and unwanted furry (and feathered and all other) friends.
All year round, you can find a donation box for voluntary contributions at the Octopus piercing reception. If you need to get rid of loose change like 1 or 5 cents, toss it in the box 🙂 Feeling happy because we helped you solve a piercing issue? Don’t fatten us up with chocolate – instead fatten our donation box 🙂
When our donation box fills up, we donate the funds to a random organization that currently has an urgent case (an injured or severely ill animal).
Given the large number of associations and an even greater number of their beneficiaries, we are unable to keep track of them all.
